As a practicing dental surgeon, published author, academic researcher, professor, and lecturer, Dr. Singh is passionately dedicated to improving the lives of his patients. He is also committed to serving the professional community through research and innovations that are pushing the fields of Dental and Oral Implantology, Tissue Engineering, and Dental Sleep Medicine forward to new and unexpected frontiers.

Dr. Singh received his Bachelor of Science from SUNY at Stony Brook and his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Medicine from New York University College of Dentistry. He then completed his residency in Dental and Oral Surgery as well as his fellowship in Oral and Dental Implantology at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Singh’s postgraduate studies in Advanced IV Anesthesia were completed at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Montefiore Hospital; and obtained his Board Certification in Dental Sleep Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Singh is recognized as an authority in the fields of Oral and Dental Implantology as well as Sleep Medicine. He is one of a handful of dentists who hold 4 board certifications and are Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Board of Oral Implantology, American Sleep and Breathing Academy and Fellowships with American Academy of Implant Dentistry and American Dental Society of Anesthesiologists. He has held faculty positions at NYU and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He currently serves as faculty at the Foundation for Surgical Excellence and at the New York Head and Neck Institute, the Center for Facial Reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Singh is also an editor of 2 academy sponsored research journals and has published and contributed to numerous research articles and textbooks and is the author of Atlas of Oral Implantology, 3rd Edition by Mosby/Elsevier and inventor of the minimally invasive implant surgical system “Singh GPS” and “MAD-FIT” multifunctional oral appliance.
As co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at a Healthtech firm APP-NEA, L.L.C., Dr. Singh is dedicated to researching new avenues for sleep apnea treatment and TMJ-Jaw and Orofacial Pain and is a fervent advocate for developments in Dental Sciences. It is among his professional goals to improve the lives of those who struggle with sleep apnea and to educate other dentists on their role in a team approach to the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.

When he is not busy practicing, writing, researching, or lecturing, Dr. Singh volunteers as a fire-medic in his hometown fire department, as well as playing tennis (he is USTA ranked!). He also loves spending time with his wife, Monica Bajaj Singh, and their two children, Meena and Shiv, and their dog, Lucky.
